Relevant Case Study
I read the CTV case study in the
last issue of ‘Strategic Marketing’ and found it very interesting, as it resembles the state of several Indian
companies who are finding it difficult to face competition from the
multinationals, both in terms
of technology and marketing
strategy.
As mentioned, this company
appears to be an old player in the CTV segment. However, it appears
to be pretty lacklustre in its
working, given that it took such a long
time to realise that it had lost a great degree of its market share. Even
though the company is an arm of a foreign company, it failed to
foresee the change in consumer behaviour.

Interesting Concept
I have gone through the latest issue of ‘Strategic Marketing’ and found the articles very enlightening. The question of Permission Marketing is a novel idea and is doubtlessly going to be the trend in the coming years. The author has rightly pointed out that people are fed up of programmes being endlessly interrupted by ads.
